What happens the morning we go?
School begins at 8:15. It is important that your child is here at AnthonyTrainaSchool on time. Students may need to arrange a ride to school, since they will be carrying their luggage and sleeping bag. Busses will leave campus anytime between 8:30-11:00.
Students also need to arrange a ride home Friday. The Outdoor Education buses will arrive at Anthony Traina School between 2-5 pm, Friday afternoon. A Connect Ed message will be sent out keeping parents informed as to the projected arrival time.
Only medications in their original containers will be accepted. Please place these in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it and hand it directly to their teacher. All medications brought to camp must be recorded on the medical release form. There is one exception. Inhalers must be checked in, and then students who have the self medication form signed by their doctor, will be allowed to carry them on their person.
Remember to pack a sack lunch with a drink inside. We’ll be eating lunch at a park in the Bay Area and they will not be able to purchase anything there.
Friday Pick Up: Buses usually return around 2-3pm. The school will send out a voice mail letting you know the approximate time. When picking up your child in the MPR room, please check in with their teacher. They will need to be checked offbefore being released.
