Internet Activity: ESL LAB Listening
Steps
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Type in the URL:

o Choose an EASY, MEDIUM or DIFFICULT listening to do.
3. Click “Play Windows Media”
4. (You may have to install the program “express” then “finish”)
5. The listening will start automatically after that.
6. Listen
7. Go back to internet explorer and answer questions about the listening. When you are done, click on “Final Score.”
8. Then click BACK and choose a different listening activity.

7. When it is done, click on the < button a few times to rewind it and listen again.
8. When you are done, click on the BACK button and choose another listening exercise to do.
Internet Activity: The Hunger Site
Steps
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Type in the URL:
http://www.thehungersite.com
3. Click on “Help Feed the Hungry” button in the middle
4. When you click this button, the advertisers donate money to feed the hungry. You can only click once a day, but it’s a worthwhile cause.
5. Why do you think that advertisers are willing to give money for EACH CLICK? Answer: ______
6. After you click on the button, look at the advertisers that come up. If you’d like, click on one or two. This will encourage them to advertise on The hunger Site more.
7. Then go back to the main page and click on the “Breast Cancer” tab at the top. It’s pink.

Steps
1. Open Internet Explorer
