FAMILY EXPRESSES THANKS
Charles Romero’s wife, Pat, children and their spouses and grandchildren extended their “most heart-felt thanks to all . . . for your love, support and prayers during Charles’ last days and passing.He truly enjoyed being a member of MBS, and most especially being a part of the brotherhood of the Knights of Columbus.“The family also thanked those who planned and officiated the vigil service and funeral mass. Candace Romero Axen, who wrote the e-mail on behalf of the Romero family also wrote, “thank you to the Knights who stood guard at the vigil service; Charles would have been honored by your presence.“
PRO-LIFE NEWS
The Pro Life Rally March of Life was held in Austin on January 21. Over 1000 children, teens and adults of all ages walked 2-miles that ended on the steps of the Capitol.

Our own Knights of Columbus Squires will meet at 7:00PM in Classroom 9 at Most Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, March 13 and March 27.

UPCOMING KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS EVENTS
Council 9299 Business Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6 in Classroom 9 at MBS. Meeting starts at 7:00PM.
1st Degree ceremonies will be held a Saint Matthews in Arlington on March 12 and at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Keller on March 28.
Council 9299 Planning Meeting will be held at 7:00PM on Tuesday, March 20 in Classroom 9 at MBS.
The Fort Worth Metroplex Chapter meeting will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday, March 28.
A CouncilFamily Event will be held on Wednesday, April 18 from 5-8PM at the Old School Pizza and Suds, 603 W. Abram in Arlington. Knights, their families and guest (new members) will receive a 20% discount on food.
HELP NEEDED FOR LENTEN MEALS AND BREAKFAST AND CORPORATE COMMUNION
Knights of Columbus members are needed on March 9, March 16 and March 30 since we sponsor the Stations of the Cross and the Lenten Meal in the Parish Hall. Meal preparation starts at 4:00PM and volunteers are needed to carry the two candles during Stations.
The Council Executive Committee is asking more members to step forward to help with the Parish Breakfast scheduled for Sunday, March 11. In the February breakfast, $225 was made after expenses were paid. Help is needed for various times starting at 7:30AM and ending at 12:30AM.
