Introduction:

Our graduation project is a web site about our land Palestine . We mention all information about Palestinian cities, villages and all famous places in Palestine.

In programming we used php languageand mysql server to store data. Also we used map build in GIS to use it to reach to all cities , and measure the distance between any two places , measure length of any path and measure the area .

Also to enable to the user to show map in satalite mode we make link to redirect him to google earth .

What is GIS Mapping?

A geographic information system (GIS), or geographical information system refers to any system that records and analyzes information linked to a geographic location.

It allows users to search for specific queries and draw conclusions from the analysis of the spatial information and data presented by the map.

Technically, a GIS is a system which includes :

1-mapping software and its application to remote sensing, land surveying, aerial photography, mathematics, geography.

2- and tools that can be implemented with GIS software.

Where GIS mapping used?

The use of GIS mapping technology can be seen today in GPS devices and online mapping applications like Google Earth.

The study of geographic concepts and mapping systems is called geographic information science

Description of our web site :

In our web site you can enter either user or administrator , each one has specific tasks and limitations

In database we make many tables, first one to store names of all cities , second table to store name of all features of all cities .

Other tables we use each of them to store all information about certain feature in all cities , such as (القرى) to store name of villages in all cities , (الجامعات) to store names of all universities in all cities .

We made economy table ,it implies farming ,industry ,and trading.

There is important events such as Gaza war ,majazer and other things.

And in our DB we put many historical information about all history of Palestine.

There is culture and legacy table it contains information about education ,Islamic association ,newspapers ,and others.

We add information's about population in Palestine.

And other table contain information about hospitals and hotels, and tourism.

In our application we has pictures about all cities in Palestine, and some events.

And we made videos about all cities in Palestine, we used movie maker to make allvideos.

Design Part:

In our design we choose the green color because it symbolize the green life in Palestine life.

we use Photoshop and image ready to make the panel of our website

we write apart of poet by using image ready.

We create icons by using adobe illustrator and Photoshop to make the shape and the color.

We search in the internet to find a new kinds of fonts and use it to create anew kind of buttons like :

By using macromedia flash8 we create many cubes that contains pictures of Palestine sites and historical events such as:
