 Shares are available in three sizes: Large – recommended for a household of four (or those who really love their vegetables!) Medium – recommended for a household of two, and a Smallshare recommended for individuals

 Community Supported Agriculture is about sharing the risks and rewards of farming. It works by asking Members to commit to buy a share of the farm’s harvest for a year in advance. In this way your growers have the security to embrace low-input ecological production. In return our Members feel a lot more connected to where their food is coming from and how it’s produced.

 It is essential that new Members understand what is meant by “sharing the risks and rewards of farming”. Chagfood is not simply a veg-box scheme. As Members receive an equal share of the harvest each week they soon become aware of exactly what is in-season and how the weather affects their vegetables. If it is a good year Members can enjoy a bumper share of the harvest. If it is a bad year however Members must also accept a smaller share.

 Although we depend on your commitment to support Chagfood, we also understand that circumstances change and members may occasionally need to cancel their subscription prematurely. In this case we ask for a minimum of two months notice.

I/we agree to pay the following contribution:

One Large vegetable share, £750 for 12 months or £65.00 standing order to be paid on 1st of each month
One Small vegetable share, £600 for 12 months or £52.00 standing order to be paid on 1st of each month
One half vegetable share £450 for 12 months or £39.00 standing order to be paid on 1st of each month

Subsidised shares for low-income households are available please ask for availability.
