LOAN ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR
CATEGORY DESCRIPTION
Often the unsung hero of any mortgage business, this award recognises the loan administrator that has most effectively supported the broker or business in which he/she works. The category, which is open to all loan administrators that meet the category requirements, will assess volume of submissions supported, attention to detail, knowledge of products, bank systems and loan processes as well as customer service capabilities.
To qualify for this award, entrants must have commenced part or full time employment as a loan administrator with their current organisation before 30 June 2014 and directly serviced an individual broker or brokerage office.
This is an individual award and is based on the period from 1 July 2015 – 30 June 2016.
ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Award based on business metrics plus submission; assessed by Australian Broking Award judges. The combined score between these two components will determine the category winner.

Submission deadline
All submissionsmust be received through the eAwards Portal by 5.30pm on Friday,21 April 2017.
Submission requirements
a) Provide full business metrics and performance numbers; this must be entered through our eAwards Portal. Failure to provide full details may negatively impact your submission. All business metrics are strictly confidential and will not be published.
b)The entrant must upload a detailed submission that answers/addresses the points below:
Submissions are limited to 1,500 – 2,000 words (word counts must be strictly adhered to)
- What sets you apart from other loan administrators – why are you unique?
- What steps did you undertake during financial year 2016 to improve your loan administration capabilities, and how did that positively impact on the business where you work?
- What was your greatest achievement as a loan administrator during financial year 2016?
- Please provide three testimonials highlighting your success as a loan administrator. Include the name and title of the person providing the testimonial
c) Please attach any supporting material (up to 5 only, files no larger than 200kb).
This material may differ depending on the category and can include images, statistics, media coverage and other relevant information.
Remember to evidence any financial or business metrics or statements with supporting documentation including audited statements, third-party independent data reports or endorsements.
Please do not provide supporting documents unless they are directly referenced and relevant to your submission.

Submissions must be entered online through our awards portal or before the submission deadline.

Please note that all submissions are treated in the strictest confidence and only viewed by the Australian Broking Awards judging panel.
Lodging multiple awards
While producing an awards submission can be a time-consuming process, there are ways in which you can reduce the work required. For example, you may be able to use the same core submission for a number of different categories, tailored to the specifics of each category.
NOTE: You will still need to complete separate online submissions for each award.
