Production Packers
We are currently seeking Packers to work in our Production Department.
COMPENSATION: $14.73/hr.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible to learn products produced and the various packaging methods.
· Obtain a good working knowledge of the production lines and packaging equipment.
· Ability to complete working papers accurately
· Accurately package and weigh product according to requirements.
· Adhere to companies GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
· Clean and Sanitize equipment
· Ability to lift up to 15kgs
· Ability to stand for several hours
· May be assigned to other departments to assist on various projects and vacation replacement
· Other duties assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent attendance record is a must!
Able to handle physical work requirements and repetitive work
Reliable, hardworking, flexible, results-oriented team player
Good oral and written English communication skills
Ability to perform basic math
Previous experience working in a food production environment is an asset
Forklift certification is an asset
Applicants must be able to work any shifts, including weekends.
