How do I find the answer? READING COMPREHENSION
Knowledge Level = basic comprehension
Key Words: defines, describes, identifies, knows, labels, lists, matches, names, outlines, recalls, recognizes, reproduces, selects, states, who, what, when, where
You’ll find the answers directly in the text
Comprehension = showing basic understanding
Key Words: comprehend, convert, defend, distinguish, estimate, explain, extend, generalize, give Examples, infer, interpret, paraphrase, predict, rewrite, summarize, translate
You’ll find most of the answers in the text OR with a bit of extra thought
Application = applying what you know in a new situation
Key Words: apply, change, compute, construct, demonstrate, discover, manipulate, modify, operate, predict, prepare, produce, relate, show, solve, use
Use what you know and apply it in the new situation—if ice melts when I take it out of the freezer in my kitchen, it will melt faster when I put it in the microwave!
