2. A compulsory tender briefing meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place at Metrorail, 4th Floor Boardroom, Room 400, Propnet Building, No. 1 Adderley Street, Cape Town starting at 10h00 on 30 November 2016.
· Tenderers must arrange own transport and parking.
· Tenderers failing to attend the compulsory tender briefing session will be disqualified.
· PRASA reserves the right to only allow tenderers in possession of a valid tender document at the briefing.
· A maximum of two representatives per company will be allowed to attend the briefing.
· Bidders arriving 15 minutes after the briefing session has commenced will not be allowed into the venue.

SCOPE OF WORK FOR Supply and Delivery of Hot Beverage Consumables for the Business Express Train Services on an “As and When” Required Basis
The hot beverage consumables include the supply and delivery of the following items:-
Waxed or insulated paper cups-250ml
Plastic Sip thru lids
White sugar sticks
Ceylon tag less teabags-8.8oz
Rooibos tag less teabags-7.05oz
Plastic/wood stirrers
Full cream long life milk
Sweetener (tube sachets)
• Orders will be placed as the need arise;
• Orders to be delivered within 48hrs after order being placed;
• The orders must be delivered at the Business Express Offices, Cape Town station;
• Consumables to be in good order on delivery – damaged goods will be returned and replacement to be delivered within 24hrs;
• A penalty of 15% on the total cost of the order will be applicable on deliveries received after the required 48hrs
