Volunteer Information Form

The MLC Committee is getting ready to host our 27th Tournament August11th-August13th 2017.

The Toronto organizing committee is looking for dedicated volunteers to help facilitate an organized and fun tournament for all bowlers participating.

Volunteers are required for the following events:

Hotel: Friday and Saturday, Courtyard Marriot: 475 Yonge St. (just north of Carlton at Wood St.), Toronto, Ont.

Registration: Facilitating the flow of bowlers enrolling for the tournament. Duties may include:

  • check-in  distribution of bags and tags
  • raffle ticket sales  optional entries

Transportation: Check-in and directing bowlers to buses for commute to bowling alley. Saturday and Sunday morning.

Hospitality Suite: Friday and Saturday Evenings.Duties may include:

  • room set-up Bartending(SMART serve required:
  • decorating food service
  • door Person clean-Up and Ensuring General Tidiness of Rooms

Bags and Tags: Assembly of gift bags to distribute to participants. (usually done a few days before tournament)

Set-up: assisting in the organization and decoration of banquet facilities on Sunday morning at the Hotel.

Volunteers are needed for Saturday and Sunday to assist with:

  • Selling of Raffle Tickets to Benefit our Local Charities
  • Help facilitate optional bowling events (e.g. brackets)
  • Directing of bowlers to buses for transportation back to hotel.
