BASIC FUNCTION: (this should be a brief statement or two which summarizes what the positions primary function is, or what service the position provides). Example: The administrative assistant reports directly to the Division Head, and interacts on a day-to-day basis with other TRIUMF Admin Assistants, supervisors and technical staff regarding matters related to divisional issues, or to obtain information relevant to the function of the division . Key external contacts are with senior officials at various universities, travel agents and government agents. These relationships are characterized by respect, professionalism and competence.
