I) We are the Econ Club at Iowa State University. The Econ Club abides by and supports established Iowa State University policies, State and Federal Laws.
II) PURPOSE: The Econ Club provides an environment in which individuals interested in economics can further their knowledge and understanding of economics. The club facilitates communication between students, faculty, and persons inside and outside the university.
III) MEMBERSHIP is open to any Iowa State student who attends an Econ Club meeting and provides their name and e-mail address to the Vice-President. An Econ Club member is anyone who is on the e-mail list and has attended more than one Econ Club meeting.
IV) OFFICERS generate club activities, follow university procedures for Student Organizations, keep club members informed, and ensure the Econ Club’s continuation.
There are five officers:
1. President: the duties of the President include (i) registering the club with ISU StuOrg every semester, (ii) organizing, (iii) broadcasting, and (iv) chairing meetings.

provision to be met, at least six hours (half-time credits) must have been taken for the semester under
consideration.

term of office.
(c) Be ineligible to hold an office should the student fail to maintain the requirements as prescribed in (a) and (b).
Replacement and Removal Procedures:
An officer of the club may be removed from their position if they fail to meet their requirements and descriptions above. A 2/3 vote by the club members and approval by the advisor are necessary for removal.
