At Creating Brighter Futures, we provide center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children who have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders, ages 2-10 years old. Our goal is to provide the skills, teaching environments, and learning opportunities necessary to improve the quality of life for each of our clients in a center-based setting. Each child will receive the best individualized, evidence-based treatments available. All treatment will be administered by well-trained behavioral technicians and supervised and supported by an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Behavior Technician

Requirements:

 Candidates must be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children who have developmental disabilities. On the job training is provided. Opportunities for professional growth are available.

 Currently pursuing a BA or MA degree, or already possess a BA degree, in Psychology, Special Education, or other related field with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

 Candidates with a minimum of one (1) year of experience implementing ABA therapy (preferred)

 Candidates are required to successfully complete the ABA Tutor Coursework from The College of Applied Human Services (stipend provided at the completion of the course).

 Candidates pursing certification by the BACB are preferred.

 Clean Criminal Background Check

 Must be able to provide a minimum of two (2) professional references

Specific duties include:

 Behavior Technicians will provide one-on-one and group activities related to the delivery of behavioral analysis services, as defined within a behavior analysis service plan.

 Activities include implementing ABA therapy, monitoring behavior analysis services, implementing behavior plans, and daily data collection and display.

 Therapy will be implemented in a center-based environment.

 Behavior Technicians will primarily work in conjunction with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to decrease problem behaviors and increase skill acquisition with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities.

 Behavior Technicians will be required to maintain the client's program book as well as monitor and evaluate the implementation of behavior intervention plans and work with the BCBA to address areas that need further training.

 Behavior Technicians will be required to maintain and protect the well-being of all clients as well as maintain client confidentiality.

Schedule & Compensation:

 Starting out as part-time employment

 Possibility of full-time employment in the future

 $13-$15 per hour starting rate

 Accrued vacation time based on hours worked
