Thank you for volunteering to make the Region 7 MADI Regional Tournament a great experience for 600+ students. We have 80teams at this tournament, one of the largest in the state, and could not be successful without your support. This is a new tournament location for us, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we coordinate best practices and procedures.

Challenge Locations:
When do I arrive and where do I go? Your RCM (Regional Challenge Master)will contact you for a specific meeting time but generally you should plan to arrive by 7:30 am. Stop by the Officials’ Lounge (located in the Teacher’s Lounge)for coffee & snacks and then head to your assigned location. A complimentary lunch will be served in the Official’s Lounge during your break. You do not need to purchase lunch in the cafeteria.
Where do I park? Please note that there is limited parking at Holliston High School and we would like to reserve the parking lot for participants who are bringing in supplies. Therefore, we are asking you to carpool with other appraisers if able and to park along Marked Tree Road in Holliston. Marked Tree ends in a cul de sac, and there is a short path from the cul de sac right to the High School.
What do I bring? Enthusiasm, a well-rested body, a sense of humor, and any paperwork provided to you at your Appraiser training. We will provide all other materials needed, including lunch, water and snacks throughout the day.
What do I wear? Dress casually and comfortably. We will present you with a keepsake Officials Apron and pin at the morning meeting with your RCM. You will wear this all day to identify yourself as an Official. We prefer that appraisers not wear the same t-shirts as their town DI teams. We encourage you to wear the most creative headgear you can imagine and enter the Appraisers’ Hat Contest during Closing Ceremonies. This event is a highlight for both teams and officials.
When can I go home? You will need to stay until ALL your teams have finished AND the Score Room Manager has given the all clear for your challenge. We anticipate Closing Ceremonies will begin at 5:30 pm and conclude about an hour later. We hope you will join us at Closing Ceremonies for the Appraisers’ Hat Contest.

Directions to the cul de sac on Marked Tree Road

From Points North via 495 South:
Take 495 South to exit 19- Medway/Milford - Route 109. Bear right to merge onto 109 towards Milford. At first set of lights take a right, onto Beaver Street. Follow to the first set of lights, take a right onto Route 16. Follow Route 16 (which is Washington Street) into downtown Holliston, about 5 miles. As you enter the center (which is very small) you will see Marked Tree Road on your left. Take Marked Tree all the way to the cul de sac. You will see a pathway to the high school from the cul de sac.
From Points South via 495 North:
Take 495N to exit 19- Medway/Milford - Route 109. Go left off ramp towards Milford. At first set of lights take a right, onto Beaver Street. Follow to the first set of lights, take a right onto Route 16. Follow Route 16 (which is Washington Street) into downtown Holliston, about 5 miles. As you enter the center (which is very small) you will see Marked Tree Road on your left. Take Marked Tree all the way to the cul de sac. You will see a pathway to the high school from the cul de sac.
From Route 128 Boston And Points North:
Take the Mass Pike to Route 128 South to Route 16 West. Follow Route 16 West through Wellesley, Natick, Sherborn and into Holliston (12-15 Miles). Continue on Route 16 (which is Washington Street) for approximately 2.5 miles. Follow Washington Street past the White Churches and the gas stations and take a right onto Marked Tree Road. Take Marked Tree all the way to the cul de sac. You will see a pathway to the high school from the cul de sac.
From Connecticut and Points South:
Take the Mass Pike to Route 495 South. Take exit 19- Medway/Milford - Route 109. Bear right to merge onto 109 towards Milford. At first set of lights take a right, onto Beaver Street. Take Route 3 to Route 495 South in the Lowell/Lawrence area. Take exit 19- Medway/Milford - Route 109. Bear right to merge onto 109 towards Milford. At first set of lights take a right, onto Beaver Street. Follow to the first set of lights, take a right onto Route 16. Follow Route 16 (which is Washington Street) into downtown Holliston, about 5 miles. As you enter the center (which is very small) you will see Marked Tree Road on your left.
