Hours of work / •Minimum 3 hour shifts on concert & event days (weekends and evenings)
•Mainly seasonal hours (September to July)

Reporting to / Catering Manager
Summary of role / Reporting to the Catering Manager of Saffron Hall, the Catering Supervisor is responsible on shift, for the organising and delivery of catering at Saffron Hall concerts & events.
Main Duties and Responsibilities / • Managing the catering team on your Supervisor shift
• Brief staff on running times and event information in pre-service briefing
• Set-up and pack down of the bar, café and artist’s bar areas
• Serve customers across our catering offerings (bar, café, etc)
• Trouble-shoot and smooth issues relating to the successful execution of catering operation at concerts & events
• Cashing up and money management
•Maintain the areas in all aspects of hygiene
• Conduct post-event debriefing sessions with the Catering Manager
•Assist the Catering Manager intraining of catering team
• Promote the excellent service and high level of customer care associated with Saffron Hall
• Assist in driving forward catering revenues and implement initiatives to grow the business
Person Specification / Essential
•Experience managing a team in an events based environment
•Excellent communication and customer service skills
•Strong organisational abilities
•Enthusiastic attitude
•Able to work evenings and weekends
Desirable
•Experience working within a bar/hospitalityenvironment
•Food Hygiene Certificate
•Cash handling experience
