Class 7 MINI 11 yrs & OVER inc ADULTS. Course Approx 30-45cm. Mini logs, shortened course, may inc water crossing, 1-10 fences approx may inc some knockdown fences, Not timed, completion rosettes to all riders. Sponsored by Threpmuir Catering

Class 8 MINI 10 & UNDER Course Approx 30-45cm See class 7 for details of course. 10 and under, parental assistance is permitted but ideally not lead rein. Not timed, completion rosettes to all riders. Sponsored by Ardvreck School.

Entry Fee Classes 1-6: £30.00. Class 7&8: £20.00.

Rosettes will be awarded to 6th place in each class, Prizes in kind.

Please note Strathearn Eventing can be hired with/without tuition by arrangement. There will be refreshments on site and a farrier maybe in attendance on the day.

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, Strathearn Eventing, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. HEALTH AND SAFETY

The Organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all officials and stewards. RULES AND CONDITIONS

1 The organisers reserve the right to cancel or combine classes, alter advertised times or refuse entry. A waiting list will be held if oversubscribed.

2 It is a condition of entry that:

a any person when mounted must wear a riding hat to a minimum of PAS 015, ASTM F1163 or EN1384 correctly fastened at all times;

b Medical armbands and back protectors must be worn.

3. Entries will close at 1800hrs on Friday 8 May 2015. All entries must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee with cheques payable to "Strathearn Eventing Ltd". Late entries maybe accepted at an additional £5 per entry. HC entries also accepted if numbers permit. No telephone entries will be accepted.

No refund of entry money will be made after the closing date. In the event the hunter trial has to be cancelled for any reason, money will be refunded less 15% to cover admin fees.

4 Competitors requesting a preferred start time within their class should advise the Secretary on their entry form.

5 Approximate times of starting will be available by telephoning 01738 840263 between 1700hrs and 1900hrs on Friday 15 May 2015 or on the web www.strathearneventing.co.uk

6 The course will be open for course walking from 1400hrs on Saturday 16 May 2015.

7 Any complaint must be made in writing accompanied by a £25 deposit to the Secretary. The deposit will be refunded if the complaint is upheld or at the discretion of the Chief Steward whose decision is final.

8  All horses and ponies must be 5 years old or over..

9  In the interest for the safety of riders and horses we will ask for those eliminated on the course to leave the course at a walk except classes 6,7,8 which may continue at the discretion of the jump judge and controller dependant on ground conditions , a notice will be put up at secretary.

10  Please ensure that all litter and general debris is disposed of responsibly. Please do not muck out your horsebox in the horsebox park, IT’S A HAYFIELD.

11  All classes will be run under BE Rules. Therefore when a combination have three refusals at one jump, or 5 accumulative refusals on course riders will be asked to leave the course for safety reasons, apart from classes 6, 7&8 there will be a notice up on the secretary’s dependant on weather on the day if it is feesible for you to continue. Classes 1-6 will be judged to an optimum time. No optimum time classes 7&8,. Stopwatches are forbidden.
