UQ Rowe Scientific Honours or Research Higher Degree Chemistry Student Bursary

About the Award
Established in 2016 and maintained by an annual donation of $2,000 from Rowe Scientific Pty Ltd,
the purpose of the scholarship is to encourage domestic students to undertake a research degree at UQ who would not otherwise do so.
The value of the scholarship will be $2000.The scholarship may be held for the length of the program.
Eligibility
The applicant must —
(a) be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident;
(b) be a student enrolled for an honours or research higher degree in chemistry;
(c) fall into one of three categories:
i.have a rural background;
ii.have some form of socio-economic disadvantage;
iii.undertaking study at UQ would represent a significant change in location (i.e. they do not reside in or around Brisbane, or have not undertaken their undergraduate studies at UQ.)
Selection Process
Selection of the recipient will be made by the Head, School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences.
