The Scottish Golf Trust and American-Scottish Foundation

The Scottish Golf Trust undertakes an extensive program of events and initiatives helping to foster youth engagement in the healthy and challenging sport of golf, working with coaches, clubs, schools, community groups, to gain greater visibility for its youth program. Your support is vital to the Scottish Golf Trust’s continued work.

The American-Scottish Foundation is proud to be working in association with the Scottish Golf Trust to help further itsmission to develop youth programming and engagement in the historic sport of golf through the ASF Lord Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton Youth Program Initiatives.

Donations can be applied and used to support the Scottish Golf Trust’s charitable purposes in many important ways. Some options are offered for consideration. These are provided as guidance only. You may wish to donate in memory of a Scottish relative, friend, teacher, club or experiences that involved the game of golf or under your own name.

Train a teacher to introduce 30 children per annum to golf at school / $350
Provide an annual personal coaching and development program for a
young golfer / $750
Train a volunteer coach to deliver an annual coaching program to 8 children in a golf club / $950
Support a Scottish golf club to achieve international accreditation in environmental management best practice / $1,250
Sponsor a club manager scholarship to attend the Club Managers Association of America annual conference / $2,000
Sponsor a club manager to attend a one week management development Program / $2,500
Support an annual club program of coaching for 8 promising young golfers / $5,000
Sponsor an annual scholarship for a talented player to attend a Scottish University / $10,000
Sponsor an annual scholarship for a talented young player to attend a fee paying golf school / $20,000
Make a donation of your choice to support the general charitable purposes of public participation in golf, education and environmental good practice.

Please note thatany one person donating $4,000 or more will receive an invitation to the Scottish Golf Patron’s Golf Day.

This golf day is played annually on one of Scotland’s most prestigious golf courses in a Pro-Am format, with Patrons playing alongside one of our leading Tour professionals or top amateurs, who have benefited from Scottish Golf’s support during their career.
