FRIENDS OF THE GAMBIA ASSOCIATION

Under the Gift Aid Scheme

If you are a UK taxpayer, the Inland Revenue allows the Charity to reclaim the income tax that you have already paid, or will pay in the future, on any sponsorship or general donations to FoTGA.

To do this we need authorisation from you.

We stress that this procedure costs you nothing extra.

The money that the Charity gains in this way enables us to widen our range of activities in the Gambia by providing further assistance to schools, clinics, villages and other needy children for whom we have not been able to obtain sponsors.

Gift Aid Declaration

To: The Friends of The Gambia Association

Please treat as Gift Aid donations all qualifying gifts of money made by me to FoTGA in the past 4 years and into the future.

I confirm that I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6th April to 5th April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities to which I donate will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand that the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I donate.
