The information in this article applies to:

· Instructions for updating the Service Issues Speedbuttons in Gorilla versions 2.x, 3.x and 4.0.


Questions/Situations

· How do I update my Service Issues Speedbuttons to include the latest revisions to the SV Problem Report process?

IMPORTANT NOTE

These steps only apply if you have not already updated your Speedbuttons and are on a version of Gorilla where the updates were not part of the installation:

· Any installation of 2.x, 3.x or 4.0 will need to be updated.

· To see if you need the update, look to see if the Speedbutton “All Okay” is still present in your Service Issues Speedbuttons (see image below for example). If you have the “All Okay” Speedbutton, you will need the update.

If you do have the earlier editions of these Speedbuttons follow the steps below to update your Service Issues Speedbuttons.

Solution

1. Prior to any activity that would cause changes to the database, be sure to have a complete back up of the database

2. Open the Service Issues Speedbutton Group from the Contact Management Speedbutton Type/Folder.

3. Delete the “All Okay” Speedbutton.

a. Right click on “All Okay.”

b. Choose “Delete Speedbutton.”

4. Add a Note to the “Danger Solved” Speedbutton.

a. Right click on “Danger Solved.”

b. Choose “New Command.”

c. In the Command settings in the top right corner, click the “Command Type” window.

d. Choose “Add Note.”

e. In the Comment box type “Situation Resolved.”

f. Be sure “Offset from Parent Objective” is unchecked.

g. Be sure “Pause for User Editing” is checked.

h. Click Edit Command Data.

i. Copy and paste or retype the following text into the note field.

Danger situation resolved. [Mark action “Done.”] [Add description of what was done.]

j. Leave the “System User” field blank.

k. Leave the “Note Type” field blank.

l. Click Add/Update.

m. Go to the bottom of the Command column on the right hand side and click Save.

5. Add an Action to the “Signature Required” Speedbutton.

a. Right click on “Signature Required.”

b. Choose “New Command.”

c. In the Command settings in the top right corner, click the “Command Type” window.

d. Choose “Add Action.”

e. In the Comment box type “Signature due today.”

f. Be sure “Offset from Parent Objective” is checked.

g. Set Date Offset to 7.

h. Be sure “Pause for User Editing” is checked.

i. Click Edit Command Data.

j. Copy and paste or retype the following text into the note field

Client signature due back today. If not received email, call or use “Sig Required-Nudge” Speedbutton. Re-set due date or mark Done.

k. Set the “Assigned Staffgroup” field to the SV role for your office.

l. Leave the “Priority” field set to Normal.

m. Leave the “Status” field set to Open.

n. Set the “Action Type” field to Admin.

o. Click Add/Update.

p. Go to the bottom of the Command column on the right hand side and click Save.

Your Service Issues Speedbuttons should now run following the most up-to-date procedures.
