The CPA Examination Review Practice website helps you practice for the CPA exam. This website enhances your problem solving skills by testing your knowledge of concepts and skills related to AICPA content requirements. The immediate feedback in the website creates opportunities to improve specific areas, reinforcing information that you will use throughout your program.

Instructions

  1. Access Wiley CPA Exam Review CPA Testbank through the link on the student website.
  2. Under theheadingAuditing and Attestation, select Practice Session.
  1. By default, the Selection criteria field is set to All questions. Make sure that All questions appears in the Selection criteria field.
  2. Beneath the dropdown menu, you will seeSelect All Ɩ Deselect All. Choose Deselect All.
  3. Check Engagement Planning under Which module(s) would you like questions from.

1)In the “How many multiple choice questions would you like field”, choose “32.”

2)In the “How many simulation questions would you like field”, choose “0.”

3)Click Start Session.

4)Answer each question carefully.

5)Click Next to register your answer. As soon as you respond, the system will register your response as your answer and provide immediate feedback.

6)If your answer is incorrect, you may click Try again or click Next Question to go to the next question.

7)When you complete the last question, click Done. Read the feedback for the question and click either Try again or Done.

8)When prompted, Quit session.

9)You will see your Overall Score. Take a screen shot of your results page, by clicking Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen, and paste it, by clicking Ctrl + V, into a Microsoft® Word document.

10)Click Save for Review.

11)When asked if you want to save this session stats to reports, click Yes.

12)Assign a session name, such as “FAR Practice Session 1”, click Okay.

13)Click the Home icon in the upper right corner of the page.

  1. Under the heading Regulation, select Practice Session.

5)Click Next to register your answer. As soon as you respond, the system will register your response as your answer and provide immediate feedback.

6)If your answer is incorrect, you may click Try again or click Next Question to go to the next question.

7)When you complete the last question, click Done. Read the feedback for the question and click either Try again or Done.

8)When prompted, Quit session.

9)You will see your Overall Score. Take a screen shot of your results page, by clicking Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen, and paste it, by clicking Ctrl + V, into a Microsoft® Word document.

Additional notes to help you use the Wiley CPA Exam Review CPA Testbank

  1. You may review the User Manual for additional help and explanations for the CPA Examination Review by clicking the Help feature at the top of the window.
  2. You may pause a session return later to complete it.
  1. To pause, click the pause icon next to the Time Elapsed counter at the top of the page. Enter a session name and click Saveand Exit.
  2. To return to a paused session, from the Home page, select the tab My Assessments and locate the name of the session you want to continue. Under Status, you will see if your session is paused. Under Actions click Resume.
  1. The following icons are available in the upper right corner of your screen during your practice sessions to provide assistance:
  1. Text link (notebook icon) – additional information on the question topic.
  2. Hint (lightbulb icon) – hints to answer the question.
  3. Explanation (exclamation point icon) – explanation for correct or incorrect answer responses.
  4. Calculator (calculator icon) – launch calculator feature.
  5. Home (house icon) – return to Home page

1)Before you leave this screen, you will be asked if you want to save this session.

2)Select a session name and click Save and Exit.

3)Your answers will be saved under the answer file name you created when you began the program.

  1. Forward (double arrow icon) – grayed out, not for use
  2. Quit (X icon) – exit the session (does not save your answers for future completion).
  1. If you want to access a previous file, click the My Assessments tabon the Wiley CPA Examination Review Home. In My Assessments, select the name of the session you wish to reopen. If the status of the session is shown as “Paused”, you may reopen it by clicking Resume.
