Sep 1 NODIS Interface with Standards Database
The NASA On-line Directives Information System (NODIS) is adding an interface with the Standards database that resides at MSFC. This will link all standards citations in directives, directly to the standards cited. The interface will allow users to subscribe to a system that will notify a user of any changes to the directives they are interested in. POC is C. Wahington/358-2276
September Mars Science Laboratory
The NEPA Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the project is scheduled to be issued in early September, starting a 45-day public comment period. Public meetings on the EIS are planned for late September and early October. POC is K. Kumor/358-1112
September Advanced Radioisotopes Power Systems
The NEPA Final Environmental Impact Statement for the project is scheduled to be issued in early September, starting a 30-day waiting period. POC is K. Kumor/358-1112
September Constellation Program

Oct 17-20 NASA Administrative Solutions Conference (ASC)
The ASC, previously known as Administrative Issues Conference, is planned to be held in the Washington, DC area. The conference will coincide with the Agency October OMC. The conference brings together senior administrative, functional, and institutional managers from every Center, and representatives from the HQ MDs and MSOs to discuss issues affecting the administrative, institutional, business management and operation areas of the Agency. Nov 2 Oversight Group (JOG) Meeting
The annual IP2 workshop and JOG meeting will be held in cooperation with the Air Force Space Command and our European partners in Colorado Springs, CO. Last year’s workshop was held in Lisbon and drew over 130 participants from 9 countries. POC is D. Amidei/358-1866.
