Directions:Take I-35W South to Fort Worth
Exit I-820 WestStay on I-820 Westbound for approximately 4 miles
Exit TX-199 Jacksboro Highway East You curve around and drive underneath the I-820 Overpass
Turn Right at the 1st Traffic Light which is Roberts Cut-Off
As you stay on Roberts Cut-Off, you will past Castleberry Elementary. Continue on Roberts Cut-Off. When you reach the first traffic light,which is River Oaks Blvd, continue past River Oaks Blvd on Roberts Cut-Off until the next traffic light, which is White Settlement Rd.
Turn Left on White Settlement Rd (East).
After turning left on White Settlement Rd., stay in the left hand lane. You will pass Fireside Lodge on your left.
Turn Left at the service entrance to the back side of Castleberry High School and follow it around, up the hill, and to the right between the track and the PhillipL.AikmanFineArtsCenter.
In between the track and the Phillip L. Aikman Fine Arts is where the students will unload.
Bus Parking:After unloading all students and equipment outside the PhillipL.AikmanFineArtsCenter, please leave instrument cases on the bus or instrument truck. Buses and trucks will proceed on the service entrance and take a right on Melbourne (it is a one way street) and, at the stop sign, take a left on Churchill and another immediate left on Blackstone and park in the parking lot between the CISD Technology Building and the High School Football Stadium. After your performance, students will be able to safely walk back to the buses (very short walk). Monitors will have directions.
Contest Information
The following percussion equipment will be available: Concert bass drum, timpani, marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, bells, chimes and gong. If you need additional equipment, call and we will try to help. I will also have percussion in the sight-reading room. If you plan to use your own major percussion equipment please notate that on your setup chart. This will help us facilitate a quicker stage change for you.
A tuner and metronome will be available during warm-up.

All bands will warm-up in the small band hall and perform on the stage.
Sight-reading will be in the large band hall.
Note: Please remember to familiarize yourself with these new sight-reading procedures as outlined by UIL with regards to who may be present during this portion of the contest.

- ADMINISTRATORS OF THE SCHOOL BEING EVALUATED

- JUDGES
- PARENTS OF THE STUDENTS IN THEORGANIZATION BEING EVALUATEDWITH DIRECTOR’S PERMISSION
- OTHERS MUST HAVE PERMISSION OF THE CONTEST CHAIR OR EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
- VIDEO AND/OR AUDIO RECORDING EQUIPMENT IS NOTPERMITTED IN SIGHT-READING ROOM
The Library Conference Room will serve as the contest office/director reception area. Again, we will have signs posted to all facility points of interest.
