THE UNDERSIGNED BIDDER, having familiarized himself with the work required by the contract documents, the site where the work is to be performed, local labor conditions and all laws, regulations, and other factors affecting performance of the work, and having satisfied himself of the expense and difficulties attending performance of the work;
HEREBY PROPOSES and agrees, if this bid is accepted, to enter into an Agreement, in the form attached, to perform all work, including the assumption of all obligations, duties, and responsibilities necessary to the successful completion of the contract and the furnishing of all materials and equipment required to be incorporated in and form a permanent part of the work; tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, facilities, labor, and services required to perform the work; insurance and submittals; all as indicated or specified in the Contract Documents to be performed or furnished by Contractor for the prices set forth in the following unit price schedule:

The undersigned Bidder agrees to be bound by this Bid for a period not to exceed that
specified in the Call for Bids which is the spray season 2014 with the option for the spray
season 2015 as set forth in the Contract for Services.
The undersigned Bidder agrees to enter into a contract within fifteen days after Golden Valley County’s acceptance of this bid, and further agrees to complete all work within 45
calendar days after the commencement of contract time, weather permitting.
The undersigned Bidder hereby certifies (a) that this bid is genuine and is not made in the
interest of, or on behalf of, an undisclosed person, firm, or any group, association,
organization, or corporation; (b) that he has not directly or indirectly solicited any other bidder to put in a false or sham bid; (c) that he had not solicited or induced any person,
firm or corporation to refrain from bidding; and (d) that he has not sought by collusion to
obtain for himself any advantage over any other bidder or over Golden Valley County.
Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful bidder(s) and a Certificate(s) of
that insurance shall be provided. Bidder will provide a copy of Montana Department of
Agriculture commercial spraying license with a right-or-way endorsement.
Golden Valley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all
proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the bid which is in the best interest
of Golden Valley County.

PRIORITY 1A These weeds are not present or have a very limited presence in Montana. Management criteria will require eradication if detected, education and prevention:
(a) Yellow starthistle (Centaurea solstitialis)
(b) Dyer’s woad (isatis tinctoria)
PRIORITY 1B These weeds have limited presence in Montana. Management criteria will require eradication or containment and education:
(a) Knotweed complex (Polygonum cuspidatum, P. sachalinense, P. x bohemicum, Fallopia
japonica, F. sachalinensis, F. x bohemica, Reynoutria japonica, R. sachalinensis and R. x bohemica)
(b) Purple loosestrife (Chondrilla juncea)
(c) Rush skeletonweed (Chondrilla juncea)
(d) Scotch broom (Cytisus scoparius)
PRIORITY 2A These weeds are common in isolated areas of Montana. Management criteria will require eradication or containment where less abundant. Management shall be prioritized by local weed districts:
(a) Tansy ragwort (Senecio Jacobaea, Jacobaea vulgaris)
(b) Meadow hawkweed complex (Hieracium caespitosum, H. praealturm, H. floridundum and Pilosella caespitosa)
(c) Orange hawkweed (Hieracium aurantiacum, Pilosella aurantiaca)
(d) Tall buttercup (Ranunculus acris)
(e) Perennial pepperweed (Lepidium latifolium)
(f) Yellowflag iris (Iris pseudacorus)
(g) Blueweed (Echium vulgare)
(h) Hoary alyssum (Beroeroa incana)
PRIORITY 2B These weeds are abundant in Montana and widespread in many counties. Management criteria will require eradication or containment where less abundant. Management shall be prioritized by local weed districts:

research, education and prevention to minimize the spread of the regulated plant.
