3. read their assigned chapters independently. (book in a day activity)

5. Create prefix/suffix/root word packet (foldable)
6. Complete a grammar review sheet (exit ticket).

Choose and describe a character (Joey, Grandma Dowdel, or Alice) and tell how they were in the beginning, middle, and end of the story. How did the character change from the beginning to the middle? How was the character at the end to the story? What events led to that change?
