School Membership represents excellent value, giving the bearer substantial discounts for museum-led visits, free teacher-led visits and six handling collection loans per school per year. I am pleased to say that the subscription charges remain unchanged.
Our well-established school sessions include WW2, The Victorians, The Romans and Toys in the past.
We also have a collection of loan boxes which we can lend to your school for half term periods, allowing teachers to benefit from having original and replica artefacts for use in the classroom.
If you would like to take up school membership for the year ahead, please complete the enclosed form and return it to us at the museum. You can either order your loan collections each term, or, to avoid disappointment, order your choice of collections for the year ahead on the form enclosed.

By joining the Museum Education Scheme you will benefit from discounted visit rates and resources. These include:
•Reduced rate for group sessions and activities led by expert museum staff and volunteers. All accompanying teachers and adults are admitted FREE.
•FREE entry for groups on unassisted museum visits.
•FREE handling collections up to a maximum of six per academic year.
•Reduced rate for outreach visits to schools for activity sessions.
•FREE teacher consultations and notes.
•FREE INSET sessions
•Termly newsletter and updates.
All visits are tailored to meet the requirements of your pupils. A room with dedicated toilets is provided for bag storage. FREE squash and biscuits for pupils and coffee or tea for staff are provided at break time.
