CONCESSIONARY RIDER
APPLICATION FOR POST-16 SUBSIDISED TRAVEL
2013/2014
Students who are not automatically eligible for the Council’s subsidised travel scheme for further education may apply for a spare seat on a contracted vehicle where these exist. These students travel as Concessionary Riders. The spare places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis at a cost of £327 per year for 2013/14.
The Concessionary Rider scheme does not start until 1st October each year when bus loadings are settled. You must arrange and fund your own transport to your sixth form or college until a Concessionary Scheme seat is allocated.

CONCESSIONARY RIDER PAYMENT DETAILS
The total contribution for 2013/14 is £327. You can make this in one payment or you may wish to payin three termly instalments (£120 Autumn Term, £120 Spring Term, £87 Summer Term).
Either whole payment or the first termly payment of £120 must be madebefore travel is arranged and passes issued. If paying in termly instalments you will be sent reminders towards the end of the Autumn and Spring terms when the next payments are due.
