Purpose:ToachievetheFrankfortEducationFoundation’s(FEF)missionof“Ensuring Excellencefor Every studentEvery day”throughfunding yearly teachergrantsforinnovativeideastoenhanceand improve educationintheclassroom.
Eligibility:
1. AnyCSFteacher orgroupofteachers,CSFadministrativestaff,orCSFstaffdirectlyinvolvedin childreneducation.
2. ProjectApplicant,orifmorethanoneapplicant,amajority ofprojectapplicantsdonatetothe
FEF.
EligibleProjects:A projectshouldbe innovative andsupplementthecurrentcurriculum,oraddressaspecificgoal.
Weencourageapplicationsforprojectsthatshowfreshapproachestolearning,orexpanded opportunitiesintheclassroom orinextra-curricularactivities.Grantprojectsshouldcomplement theregularacademicprogramingradesK-12andstatestandardsmustbeembeddedwithinthe applicationrequest.
Size ofGrant:FEFwillfundrequestsupto$1,000. DurationofGrant:November1–September1
ApplicantRequirements:
1. If theapplicantreceivedagrantthe previousyear,FEFmusthavereceived the previous year’s grantcompletedevaluationreportandvideobyJuly1(extendedtoSept.1forprojectsduring thesummer).
2. A new applicationmay begivenahigher priority bythegrantcommitteethanpreviously
fundedapplications.
3. Previouslyfundedapplicationsmay begivenpartial funding atthe discretionofthegrant committee depending uponthe number ofapplicationsandamountofmoneyavailable.
4. Completeandreturnthe EducationProjectGrantApplicationwiththeoriginaland4copies by October1ofeachyeartoFrankfortEducationFoundationExecutive DirectorattheCSFCentral Office.
5. TheFEFGrantCommitteewill revieweachapplicationandnotifyeachapplicantbyNovember
1. RecipientRequirements:
1. Completeandsign the “TeacherGrantAgreement”.
2. ContacttheCSFBusiness Director tobeginthe processtopurchase neededitemsfor the project.
3. Provideinformationtoparent/guardiansofstudents taking partinthe project. Such informationmustincludementionof theFrankfortEducationFoundationaswell asother possible donorsfor the project.
4. ContacttheFEFExecutive Directorregarding anyissues thatarisethatprohibits theabilityto
completethe project.
6. Submitthecompleted EducationProjectGrantEvaluationformandvideo totheFEFExecutive
DirectorbyJuly1(extended toSept.1forprojectsduring thesummer).
