Mystery Book Report

  1. Select a mystery book and have it approved by September 4.
  2. Read the book then identify the narrative elements as follows:

Setting: When and where does the story take place?

Characters: Describe (using quality adjectives) at least three main characters in the book. This should be character traits, not physical looks.

Plot: Identify the problem and the solution.

  1. Design your haunted house on a piece of posterboard or paper(NOT CARDBOARD) so that the information above is concealed under flaps that make the windows and doors; when the flaps are folded back, the writing is revealed. (may be handwritten or typed)
  2. Your haunted house is dueWednesday, September 30.
