Year Assemblies: Assemblies will be held as follows.

S2 – Tuesday 9 September

S3 – Wednesday 10 September

S4 – Thursday 11 September

S5 – Monday 15 September

S6 – Tuesday 16 September

Pupils and staff should go straight to the Assembly Hall on their allocated day and register their class in the Hall. All pupils should be seated together in their registration class.

Rugby:

  • S1/S2 rugby team should change in PE for tomorrow’s match at the start of P5. Players will need shorts, socks and boots.
  • S3 Players should change at Morriston Changing rooms where the rugby development officer will be.
  • All S3/4 and S5/56 players should change at Morriston park at the start of P5. Players will need shorts boots and sock. Any questions see Mr Kelly in G13

Rocket Club: Can all Rocket Club members please collect a letter from Mr Gray (Blue Floor, G25) ASAP. This is a letter which needs to go home to your parents/guardian and needs signed and returned with your money. The rocketwhich you have chosen at the last meeting is now on order.Thanks (R Gray, Chemistry)

Percussion/Drumkit Lessons: There are spaces available for orchestral percussion and/or drumkit. Perhaps you might want lessons to help you with performance units or part of your Music course. If interested, please collect a form from Mrs Watson.

Jazz Group: Rehearsals are beginning againonWednesday lunchtimes in Y01 at 1.05pm. Brass and woodwind players are welcome of any standard welcome. First rehearsal is this week. (AM)

DofE: Will all DofE candidates who went on their bronze expedition this year and all new candidates who are interested in doing their SILVER award, please come to a meeting in G47 at 1:10pm on Tuesday. Thank you. (AG)

ML Corridor: The tune playing in the ML corridor this week is Papoutai (pronounced papa oo tay) and it was chosen by Daniella Holder. If you were on the France trip last year, youwill remember this one! Thanks to all the pupils who have made suggestions, we are working our way through them, please keep the suggestions coming in to the Modern Languages Department. (LL)

Debating Club: Anyone from any year groupinterested in joining a debating club should come to a meeting on Thursday 11 Sept in G12 at 1.15pm. See Mrs Havinden (English), Mrs Hendry (Modern Studies)or Ms Scholes (Geography) for more information.
