Four Year College & Universities Scholarship Offerings Based Upon A+ Certification

AvilaProvides $4,00 annually for 4 years. Awarded to full-time, first year students who successfully complete the A+ Program. Recipients must maintain a 2.85 cumulative grade point average for renewal. May not be used with other Avila academic scholarships
Central Methodist University Upon transferring from a two year college, any student who has completed the A+ Program during high school, will be eligible for a half-tuition scholarship. A transfer student must have maintained A+ eligibility at a junior college or community college. A+ scholarships need fulfillment documentation from high school.
Columbia CollegeAwarded to transfer students from a Missouri public two-year college with a minimum 3.0 cumulative college grade point average and an Associate in Arts degree, Associate in Science degree, or 60 transferable hours. In addition, the student must have attended the community college on an A+ grant. Student will receive a one-third tuition discount, that is renewable for one year with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average with 24 Columbia College semester hours earned per academic year.
Drury University The Missouri A+ Recognition Scholarship is a $1,000 annual award. It is open to Missouri students who complete the A+ Program requirements. It is renewable with a 3.0 grade point average. Final transcripts indicating proof of program completions DO NOT constitute application for the Missouri A+ Recognition Scholarship. Students must submit the online application prior to the deadline, and complete the A+ Program requirements prior to graduation. Students receiving athletic scholarships are not eligible to receive this award due to NCAA eligibility requirements.
Lindenwood UniversityOffers the A+ Plus Scholarship to students who have complete the A+ Program during high school, and have scored a 21 or better on the ACT.
Missouri Western State University Missouri Western State University offers A+ students access to their one year certificates, two year Associate in Arts degree and Associate in Science degree programs. These programs are available to all students who are A+ eligible and who meet Missouri Western State University's admission requirements. This program provides financial assistance to A Plus eligible students who are enrolled in programs of study leading to diplomas, certificates, or associate degrees approved by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. Students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours of approved A Plus classes, and maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. This award pays for tuition and common fees. Missouri Western participates in the A Plus program in cooperation with Hillyard Technical Center. To apply: students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit any requested documentation to the Office of Financial Aid. Missouri Southern State University A total of 100 award per year on a first-come basis. Recipients will be selected based on the date the A+ Leadership Scholarship Application AND Application for Admission are received. This scholarship is $1,000 per academic year; $500 per semester for a maximum of eight semesters. It cannot be combined with other academic institutional scholarships. It can be combined with performance awards, not to exceed full tuition and residence hall costs, if living in the residence hall. This scholarship is available to first0time freshmen only-from an accredited A+ Missouri High School. Students must be admitted to Missouri Southern State University, and must attend MSSU the first semester immediately following high school graduation. Student must provide verification of A+ certification by high school transcript. Students must enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester, and have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This scholarship is renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters with enrollment in at least 12 credit hours per semester with a 2.5 grade point average the first semester of the award, and a 3.0 grade point average each consecutive fall and spring semester thereafter.
Northwest Missouri State Northwest Missouri State offers an A+ Scholarship for first-time freshman. Students must have attended and A+ eligible Missouri high school, and indicate "A+" on admission application. Students have to be accepted for admission by April 1. Students that are admitted into Enhanced Freshman Seminar are not eligible for the A+ Scholarship. The $1,500 award will be made upon confirmation of completed A+ requirements. Students may receive this award in addition to other Northwest automatic scholarships. There are a limited number of awards each year. The scholarships renewable for one year by completing 24 credit hours at Northwest during the year with a 3.30 Northwest cumulative grade point average.
Southeast Missouri State Offers a Southeast A+ Scholarship to students who meet the Missouri A+ Schools Program guidelines, live in one of the qualifying counties, and enroll as a full-time, degree-seeking student at Southeast Regional Campus in Kennett, Malden, or Sikeston will be eligible for participation in the Southeast A+ Scholarship Program.The scholarship requirements and renewal criteria closely relate to those in place for the Missouri A+ Program. Students must submit the Southeast application for admission, a $25 application fee, high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores. Student must request a final, official A+ transcript be mailed to the Office of Admission at Southeast Missouri State University, and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid each academic year. Students must also complete the financial aid process as directed by Student Financial Services, and enroll full-time at a Southeast Regional Campus. Stephens College Freshmen student who complete the A+ Program and earn at least a 3.0 grade point average will be offered a $1,000 scholarship
Truman State University Offers an A+ Recognition Scholarship to students that have successfully completed the A Program. Truman State University requires verification of A+ certification on an official final high school transcript. This award is $500 per academic year.
Webster University Offers a 'Webster University A+ Scholarship' to those student who are A+ eligible from their high school. It is awarded to first-time freshmen who graduate from an A+ high school, as certified by the state of Missouri,have completed the requirements of the program, and are certified by their high school to receive the A+ Scholarship offered by the state of Missouri. The award level is based on the applicant's cumulative grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT scores. In addition to the A+ certification, a minimum ACT of 21 or SAT of 1500 is required. This is a Webster University award. The A+ award offered by the state of Missouri may only be used at Missouri public community colleges. The value of this scholarship is between $1,000-$2,000, and is unlimited. Please contact the Scholarship Coordinator/Office of Financial Aid.
William Jewell A $1,500 scholarship is awarded one time to transfer student that have completed two-years at a community college.
