2Nomination papers must be delivered either to the Returning Officer or to a duly designated Deputy Returning Officer in the Committee Room at the District Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on any day after the date of this notice, but no later than noon on MONDAY 4 APRIL 2011.

3Forms of nomination paper may be obtained from the undersigned at the District Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER, or from the clerk of the appropriate Parish Council. Either will, at the request of any elector for any of the said electoral areas prepare a nomination paper for signature.

4If the elections are contested, the polls will take place on THURSDAY 5 MAY 2011.

5Applications to vote by post or to cancel or change an existing absent vote must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer at the Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden by no later than 5.00 pm on THURSDAY 14 APRIL 2011.

6Applications to vote by proxy must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer at the same address by no later than 5.00 pm on THURSDAY 21 APRIL 2011, except that applications for a proxy vote on the grounds of a medical emergency occurring after the normal deadline may be submitted until 5.00pm on THURSDAY 5 MAY 2011.
