Today our theme was “Picnic Day!”

Today’s we used our imaginations to take us out into the great outdoors for some relaxing time under a shady tree. We envisaged all the healthy food we would make to take on our picnic (and prepared it all by ourselves!) and then we got to enjoy some well-deserved ‘R and R’. We were very active during our foot story though, as our mice encountered some other wildlife who wanted to share their picnic food!

We saw bugs and butterflies and took home great memories of our day in the sun.

The books we looked at today were:

“The Crunching Munching Caterpillar” By Sheridan Cain

“I Saw an Ant on the Railroad Track” By Joshua Prince

“Too Many Shoes” By Koala Books
