The 2017 ITEA Test Technology Review Workshop is scheduled for November 15-16, 2017 with the theme “Disruptive Technology in Test and Evaluation”. Disruptive technology refers to any enhanced or completely new technology that replaces and disrupts an existing technology, rendering it obsolete. It is designed to succeed similar technology that is already in use. Disruptive technology applies to hardware, software, networks and combined technologies. Examples of disruptive technology include mobile internet and Internet of Things (IoT), electronics miniaturization, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cloud computing, software defined networking, advanced robotics, autonomous vehicles, composite materials, and 3D printing.

All presenters will be given the opportunity to have their papers published in The ITEA Journal. Workshop participants will receive, within 30-45 days following the meeting, a link to comprehensive, unclassified materials from key note and special guest speakers, panel sessions, technical tracks and technical papers.

ABSTRACTS AND PAPER SUBMISSION FOR TECHNICAL TRACK SESSIONS

Presentation topics must either be about disruptive technologies, challenges in testing disruptive technologies or disruptive technologies that could improve current test capabilities. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit both a paper and presentation however the paper is not required. All materials must be cleared for public release, so please start your internal release process as soon as possible.

Deadline for abstract submissions is July 28, 2017. Authors will be notified of acceptance by August 11, 2017. Full papers and presentations are due by November 1, 2017.

Please Note: All 2017 Test Technology Review presenters will be given the opportunity to have their papers published in The ITEA Journal. If you would like to also submit a paper for consideration for publication in The ITEA Journal you will need to prepare a full manuscript that adheres to the Journal guidelines.
