MEMORANDUM
It has been decided that audit staff posted in the State/Divisional Offices will be entrusted with the auditing of the institutions within the State/Divisional offices in which they are posted and Circular dated 27th September, 2006 has been issued and a copy of the same is enclosed for ready reference.
Consequent upon the above decision, the audit assignments for taking up audit of institutions of other State/Divisional Offices issued by this Directorate to the Internal Audit Parties stands withdrawn and cancelled.
Accountants and Auditors who are away from their headquarters on tour for conducting audit as per the earlier assignment should immediately prepare a status position of the audit completed as on date and report to that effect should be submitted to the State/Divisional Director concerned. Accountants and Auditors are expected to report back to their respective headquarter immediately.
Audit assignment issued vide Memorandum No.IA/Genl.I/adm/53 dated 31st May, 2006 and Memorandum No.IA/Genl.I/adm/15 & 45 dated 11th September,2006 for conducting Cash and Contingency Audit and Departmental Utilisation Certificate Audit Including funds disbursed for Exhibitions and UNDP for various Field Offices should be taken up without fail in terms of the assignments already issued.
All Accountants and Auditors should rise to the occasion and expected to undertake audit assignments with letter and spirit with a view to ensure completion of pending audit at the earliest.

CIRCULAR
It has been decided that audit staff posted in the State/Divisional Offices will be entrusted with the auditing of the institutions within the State/Divisional offices in which they are posted and accordingly, Circular of even No. dated 27th September, 2006 has been issued and copy enclosed for ready reference.
The Hon’ble Chairperson has directed,
“A Time Bound Programme is to be chalked out for conducting audit of the institutions. All pending audit should be taken up on priority and completed immediately. In future audit of the institutions should be completed before the end of financial year i.e. by 31st March”.
All State/Divisional Directors are hereby informed to initiate suitable action plan for strict compliance of the above orders.

C I R C U L A R
It has been decided that audit staff posted in the State/Divisional Offices will be entrusted with the auditing of the institutions within the State/Divisional offices in which they are posted and accordingly, Circular of even No. dated 27.09.2006 has been issued and copy enclosed for ready reference.
All State/Divisional Directors are hereby informed to initiate suitable time bound action plan for conducting pending audit of institutions under their jurisdiction regularly to ensure that audit of the institutions are completed before the end of the financial year.
The above instructions are issued for strict compliance.
