Meet Rules:

Approved by Swim Alberta. All current Swimming/Nation Canada (SNC) rules will be followed. SNC warm-up procedures will be in effect. All events are Timed Finals.

Meet Format:

  • 2 heats of each event will be run, except the 800 Free.
  • Teams can enter 4 swimmers per event of which only 3 will be eligible for scoring.
  • One heat only of the 800 Free will be run. Teams can enter 2 swimmers in the 800 Free and only two will be eligible for scoring.
  • Scoring will be 15, 13, 11, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (Top 12 score with a maximum of 3 per team), Relays will score top 4 with one per team.
  • Top 2 for each team will be seeded by time in heat one. Remaining swimmers will be seeded by time in heat 2.
  • Empty lanes can be filled by exhibition swimmers.

Entries:

Entries are to be submitted using Hy-Tek. Hy-Tek files are to be uploaded on line at Entry times are required for all entries. Deadline for submitting entries is October 26th, 2011 at 5pm MT. Swimmers may enter up to three individual events and two relays.

Deck entries will be permitted to fill any open lanes and will be exhibition swims only – not eligible for scoring.
