***ATTA GIRL!***
Kirsten Krueger Aiello (DCC ‘90-94) ran and completed her first marathon! On November 1st, Kirsten and 40,000 of her closest friends covered 26.2 miles in beautiful New York City- the 40th running of the event. Knowing Kirsten, I’m sure she crossed the finished line with a big smile and high kick! Congrats!
Meredith Walker Kneisand Michele TaylorSharp (DCC ‘88- 90) reached their goal of completing the Breast Cancer 3-day walk! They walked 20 miles, yes miles, for 3 days straight to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research. And we thought training camp was tough! Way to go girls!
***ALUMNI IN THE COMMUNITY***
My name isSarah Shelton and I am a former cheerleader for the 2007-2008 squad.I am currently living in Tyler, TX trying to finish school and working to earn moneyfor a missions trip for this coming summer. The Lord laid on my heart to serve in Africa this summer with Mercy Ships, who have accepted my application. I will be serving there for two months (June 1-July 31). Just the flightitself will cost me around $2,000 plus living expenses each month. So far I have earned around $2,000 but I am in the process of raising and working to earn $3,000 more.

***NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS***
As John Lennon once sang, “another year over and a new one just begun”, do you make New Year’s resolutions? If yes, what are those resolutions? Share with your sisters what you plan to do in 2010 to make it a great year....
Personally, my resolution for 2010 is to grow and nurture our budding alumni association. Thank you to all of you for your motivating and inspiring emails. I’m so happy that we’re all getting reacquainted as well as meeting new sisters. Maybe by this time next year, with your help, we’ll have found all of our missing alumni and our family will be whole once more.....

***PRAYER CIRCLE***
November, unfortunately, saw the passing of another sister. Debbie Green Thompson (DCC ’73) lost her battle with cancer. I wanted to share her DCC photo with you.
