Developmental Psychology Personal Timeline

Assignment:Create a chart of some of the following aspects of your Child / Adolescent development:

  • physical (biological or mile-stones in your life) development
  • cognitive development
  • moral development
  • psychosocial development

Format:You will do this using you school Google account,

You will create a Google Slides presentation. Following the instructions below to get you started.

  1. Open up your SCHOOL Google account (the one that ends with @ksdnj.org)
  2. Go to your Google Drive (do this by clicking on the small boxes in the upper right hand corner of the screen and then select Drive.
  3. Select New (which is in blue on the screen) and then select Google Slides
  4. Next, click a theme to the right of your screen.
  5. On the first page of your Slides, Type your name in the center box. Then type "Important Events in My Personal Timeline" in the second box.
  6. Add a slide by clicking on the " + " sign at the upper left corner.
  7. Make your first slide under the category of physical development and show your birth date, and any other information you want to include that might be relevant. You can jazz up the document with photos or clip art also.
  8. Keep adding slides and adding important events. Each must state which category from above it is part of. You must have at least ONE from each category. You must have at least 10 slides minimum.

Grading:This will count as an alternate assignment grade. TOTAL POINTS VALUE IS 100
