Job Purpose:

To protect and save life, property and the environment byassisting with the provision of Technical administrative duties associated with monitoring of fleet and equipment assets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. To provide technically administrative duties associated with monitoring of fleet and equipment assets.
  1. To assist with the monitoring of data produced through the activities of the fleet services workshops applying technical scrutiny to resultant performance and statistics and advise line manager’s areas of concern.
  1. To administer the activities associated with the provision of workshops and operational equipment ie Calibration, safety inspection and maintenance schedule production andliaison with the Workshops supervisors on the requirements for the equipment and monitoring of completion of tasks.
  1. To prepare ad-hoc reports and data input associated with the undertaking of the Fleet services department including analysis of KPIs, performance and fleet assets. Including the analysis of data to determine trends or areas of concerns which line supervisors need to be made aware of.
  1. To assist with drafting and production of fleet technical bulletins and technical staff notes.
  1. To carry out internal audits, in line with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Manual, to include ad hoc vehicle and equipment audits and assist in developing processes and procedures to comply with the Quality Management System.
  1. To monitor and report on performance of SLA’s and to proactively engage with customers to identify performance levels and feedback, reporting and escalating issues.
  1. To assist with the compliance of Workshop’s procedures in relation to responsibilities and regulations surrounding Health Safety & Welfare (HS&W), includingcarrying out on site H&S spot checks.
  1. To assist in the production risk and COSHH assessments in compliance with H&S legislation.Monitor review dates and produce summaries of these. Provide documentation upon request in accordance with data protection and freedom of information acts.
  1. Positively contribute to a safe work environment ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Risk Management, Business Continuity and Safeguarding policy and procedure. Protect all personal information in adherence with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  1. Any other duties commensurate with the responsibilities and grading of the post.
