Employees in attendance: Herman Augerhole, Delana Kimble, Tracie Cochran, Willie Hooper, Barry Allen, Rex Jordan, Larry Sloan

Points of Discussion during Meeting

A bid packet was provided to all parties covering pertinent dates, bonding requirements, mandatory bid documents, and sealed bid submittal instructions. Herman Augerhole covered handout in detail.

Questions regarding scope of work and specifications were covered by Herman Augerhole.

TERO (Tribal Employment Rights Office) was represented by William Augerhole. Information regarding TERO was explained by Herman. The following points were discussed:

  • Indian Preference applies to the General Contractor, Sub-Contractors, and employees on the jobsite.
  • TERO fees of ½ of 1% of total award amount apply
  • Core Crew list will be required from successful bidder
  • $25.00 per day permit fee for every Non-Indian
  • On-site monitoring will be done by TERO
  • Certified payroll required

Have Inspections been performed on units? Yes

Will it fall under ODOL? Yes

What units with asbestos? #3, #8, and #25

What is the square footage? Approx. 4900 sq. ft.

Do we include in our bid fill for elevation? None needed, enough on the project that can be used to reach required elevation.

Is plumbing going to be capped off? Already has been by the HACN

Sewer or Septic capped off yet? Will be capped off by the Contractor 25 ft. from Main Line

Is demo only required in asbestos? Entire Project will be demo, 3 Asbestos units will be under Wet demo procedures.

Where are the Sewer/Septic lines located coming out of apt. and will we be able to locate? Yes easily when you start. HACN Inspector will assist in locating.

56 calendar days to complete entire project.

Item 20 Payment Phase of Contract will be paid in 3 phases - 30% at 30% complete, 30% at 60% complete and 40% at 100% completion. –With the approval of HACN Inspector.

Wet demo required even if structure appears to be structurally sound? Environmental said wet demo procedures will be used. Pg 29.

Can we bid it either way as long as we do it right? Affirmative Head nod by Rex Jordan as long as you are in ODOL compliance.

Contractor /HACN Inspector will locate the main sewer lines and cap off 25 ft. from main

Certified payroll will be required from General & Sub’s

Require license plumber? HACN states yes or at your own risk. Will be inspected by HACN Inspector.
