Frankfurt/ Lingen, 14th March 2017– emcoKlima underlined its considerable general competency in individual ventilation and air-conditioning system solutions at the ISH 2017 in Frankfurt. The company also emphasised customer-focused product developments on the basis of its comprehensive specialist and technical know-how and inclusion of its intelligent control technology. The focus here is on the competency fields of industrial ventilation, round-tube systems, slotted air diffusers, non-central air conditioning and individual project business. The manufacturer is thus relying on fields in which it has already been able to excel in the market and in which it would like to specialise more in the future.
In the industrial sector the focus of modern ventilation technology lies in the effective removal of heat and hazardous substance loads in the work place or at the production site. In its demand-focused mixing, displacement or laminar flow ventilation the company delivers here the right solution in each case – be it for the industrial environment or large concert and event areas. Special requirements are solved by design modification of proven components and systems. At the same time the manufacturer always takes care to ensure that the energy, material and cost expenditure are kept as low as possible and the installed technology does not disrupt or restrict work and production procedures. As the latest development in the industrial ventilation competency field, the round IVA displacement air diffuser, which is fitted with a stepless adjustment of the radial direction of flow from vertical through to horizontal, expands the range of products offered.
In modern office and administration buildings, on the other hand, there is an increase in demand for systems that combine demand ventilation with decentralised heat and cold removal via water-fed components. For this, as well as a high quality consultancy and comprehensive know-how, the company offers a technically high-quality product portfolio that enables building-specific comfort solutions for nearly all requirement profiles to be realised. The manufacturer emphasises its competency in this field with ever-increasing successes in individual project business and the latest product developments. These include, amongst others, a round-tube diffuser adjustable by electric motor, which can be extended to include an autonomous temperature difference control system for increased heating and cooling comfort, and a ceiling induction cooling air outlet specially for use in comfort zones.
The optimum interaction between demand ventilation and temperature regulation is monitored by the cross-product MFR multi-functional regulation system likewise developed by the company. With this device an intelligent integration and actuation of external, zone-related components – for example, window contacts, shading, presence detectors or lighting – can be realised. The regulation system thus forms a central component for an energetically sensible system operation and also for high user convenience.
To be able to conduct individual project business more efficiently and further-increase its level of familiarity as a problem-solver for high-quality air conditioning, the manufacturer also relies on strategic partnerships. The aim is long-term collaboration in repeat projects of the kind that the company has already won with special solutions for room-within-room systems or the retail trade. At the very start of a project the performance capability of the planned solution in compliance with the required criteria can be verified in the company’s own research and development centre by means of realistic laboratory tests and detailed test records.
Because of its close links with the company emco Water, which was set up during the past year, the Lingen-based manufacturer believes it has acquired a new field of competency in natural water processing. The "emconarewa" system verifiably reduces microbiological loads in, for example, evaporative cooling systems, air scrubbing systems or humidification units in ventilation and air conditioning systems without chemical additives and on the basis of physical operating principles such as low pressure and cavitation. Furthermore, use of the patented technology helps improve the properties of the water and so contributes to a marked increase in the effectiveness of cooling and air humidifying processes.
