Any product exceeding the acceptable temperature by more than 3°C must be automatically rejected except for Live Shellfish which must be rejected below 6°C or above 15°C.

Bags of Ice
Please note that bags of ice are not to be temperature checked on arrival, but visually inspected for signs of unacceptable temperature abuse, such as water pooling inside the bag or dripping out of it.
If the ice has melted significantly then the product will not be true to weight, so it should be rejected on arrival.
Prime Smoked Salmon
Please note that Prime Smoked Salmon may be accepted frozen. The Salmon is quick frozen to -8°C to enable it to be sliced, then packed with ice and dispatched. Therefore there may be occasions when the salmon arrives still frozen.
