Applications are invited for the following posts in DTEA Sr. Sec. Schools (Govt. Aided Linguistic Minority English Medium Institutions), New Delhi:

PGT (Business Std.) -01(UR), PGT (Biology)- 02 (UR), PGT (Chemistry) -01(UR), PGT (Economics) – 01(UR), PGT (History) – 03(UR), PGT (Maths) – 01(UR), PGT (Physics) – 01(UR), PGT (Pol. Science) – 01(UR). Essential Qualifications: Post Graduation in respective Subjects with B.Ed. from a recognized University. Pay Band–2 (Rs. 9300–34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4800. Upper age limit is 36 years. The post of PGT (Pol.Science) is reserved for Differently abled person.

TGT (Maths) - 04(UR), Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics having secured atleast 45% marks in aggregate, B.Ed from a recognized University with CTET from CBSE. Upper age limit 30 years.

PET (Male) – 01(UR) ,PET (Female) 01 (UR) - Essential Qualifications: Graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent. Upper age limit is 30 years. The post of PET(Male) is reserved for Differently abled person.

Librarian – 01(UR) - Graduation with Diploma in Library Science or Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a Recognised University and Experience of 2 years in a Library/ Computerisation of a Library or one year certificate in Computer Application from a recognised Institute or equivalent. Upper age limit is 30 years.

Pay Band–2 (Rs. 9300–34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4600 for TGT, PET & Librarian.

Assistant Teacher – 17(UR), Essential Qualifications: Senior Secondary (12th Class) or intermediate or its equivalent from a recognised Board with 2 years Diploma or certificate course in Elementary Teacher Education/JBT or Bachelor of Elementary of Education or equivalent from a recognised Institution and should have passed CTET from CBSE. Desirable: B.A. with English and B.Ed. Applicants should have studied Tamil as one of the Language upto secondary level. Pay Band–2 (Rs. 9300–34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4200. Upper age limit 30 years. One post of Assistant Teacher is reserved for Differently abled person.

Lab Assistant – 02(UR) Essential Qualification: Senior Secondary/ intermediate with Science from a recognised Board/University. Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200) Grade pay Rs. 2400. Upper age limit 25 years. One post of Lab Assistant is reserved for Differently abled person.

UDC-01 (UR), Essential Qualification: Degree from a recognised University or equivalent and working knowledge of Computer including use of office suites and databases. Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200) Grade pay Rs. 2400. Upper age limit 25 years.

LDC-01(UR) Essential Qualification: 12th Pass or equivalent examination from Recongised University/Board. Should have passed typing test in English minimum speed of 35 wpm on Computer from Employment Exchange or from any Govt. Organization. Desirable: Tamil typing 30 wpm. Pay Band–1 (Rs. 5200–20200) with Grade Pay Rs. 1900. Upper age limit 25 years.

Note:

Age relaxation for differently abled, female & Govt. Employees etc. is applicable as per recruitment rules of Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT of Delhi and Relaxation of upper age limit for recruitment not to combine with two concessions. Experience certificate must mention designation, scale of pay, period and should be duly countersigned by the concerned Education Officer. Serving Employees should forward their application through proper channel with a NOC from Competant Authority.

Applicants should have studied in English Medium as it is an English Medium Institution and applicants with knowledge of Tamil is also desirable. The cut off date for the age limit for all categories of posts is fixed as the last date of receipt of applications, i.e. 30.01.2014.

Note:

1.  Attested Photocopy of all the Certificates, Degrees and Mark sheets for all the years and experience if any, should be enclosed with the Application.

2.  Two latest passport size colour photographs, one of which should be signed by the candidate and pasted (not stapled) on right top corner of the application and the other separately enclosed with the application.

3.  Applicants for Assistant Teacher should have studied Tamil as one of the Language upto secondary level.

4.  Experience certificate must mention designation, scale of pay, period and should be duly countersigned by the concerned Education Officer.

(i)  For PGT – Teaching Experience as TGT and PGT.

(ii)  For TGT – Teaching Experience as Asstt. Teacher and TGT.

(iii)  For Asstt. Teacher – Teaching experience as Asstt. Teacher only.

5.  Applicants should have studied in English Medium as it is an English Medium Institution and applicants with knowledge of Tamil is also desirable.

6.  Age relaxation for differntly abled, female and Govt. Employees etc. is applicable as per recruitment rules of Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT of Delhi and Relaxation of upper age limit for recruitment not to combine two concessions.

7.  In the case Differently abled persons medical certificate mentioning the percentage of the disability issued by the Medical Board duly constituted by the State or Central Government should be submitted with the application form.

8.  The cut of date for the age limit for all categories of posts is fixed as the the last date of receipt of applications, i.e. 30.01.2014.

9.  While filling up the application all the instructions should be followed strictly to avoid disqualification and DTEA (Regd) is not responsible for any postal delay.

Note: (i) Knowledge of Tamil is preferable, (ii) separate application need to be submitted, if the candidate is applying for more than one post otherwise the application will be rejected, (iii) only short listed candidate will be called for interview, (iv) the serving candidates of either Govt or other institutions should submit their applications through proper channel and (vi) the above vacancies are provisional and subject to change.
