Ski School/Senior sessions arerepeated each day (the Q/A session is offered duringthe lunch hour only for interested attendees and will be held on both Saturday and Sunday). Toboggan sessions are repeated each day. This allows participants the option of choosing two different program sessions for the weekend.

NSP-C Ski School / Senior Program
There are three different sessions offered for this program. Each session is offered on both days.
Certification Prep (full day)
This session is designed to provide an introduction to PSIA/AASI for Patrol Directors/Patrol Representatives,trainers/coaches and mentors who are not currently certified. Participants will be guided through a Certification prep covering skills, teaching assignments and strategies for successful certification. PSIA/AASILevel I certification standards will be used to calibrate participants. Unlimited number of participants.
Who should attend?
Alpine mentors, coaches, trainers and individuals doing Senior Alpine Skills Sign-offs.
Senior Alpine Evaluation - Advanced Instructor Calibration (full day)
This session is designed for senior snowboard/alpine region evaluators, examinersand all patrollers who train senior candidates and Division Q/A staff. The objective is to introduce and calibrate to the advanced certificationstandards used by PSIA/AASI when evaluating Senior candidates. Participants can expect insight into appropriate skill levels and demos for movement analysis, teaching and skiing. Skill sets reviewed will mirror those expected of a senior level evaluator on Senior rated terrain. Video analysis may be used to identify and reinforce targeted skill standards used in acertification evaluation.Bring your own copy of the Senior Manual.

The Region Senior Program Administrators and their assistants, Region Alpine Evaluation Administrators and their assistants, region alpine demo members, lead examiners and Region Directors, Senior Alpine/Snowboard evaluation staff, Instructors and Q/A staff.
Toboggan Program
There is one session for this program repeated both days.
Be The Toboggan!(fullday)
This session is split into a dry land portion designed to discuss the Toboggan Instructor & Toboggan Trainer; the mentoring process, roles, responsibilities and reporting.On hill toboggan handling activities will focus on; senior level skills, hands on lead and tail, error recognition and resolution.Discussions and exercises will focus on standard practices contained in the Division Toboggan Manual. The objective will be effective and efficient skill execution necessary forsafe toboggan handling.
Who should attend?
Toboggan/Transportation supervisors of all levels, Toboggan Instructor Trainers and Senior toboggan Evaluators.
Senior Program
There are twolunch hoursessions for this program offered both days.
Division Quality Assurance Mentoring(offered at lunch break both days)
This takes a potential QA mentoring candidate through the senior evaluation form. Demonstration of the performance objectives in the senior evaluation as it pertains to the QA instrument will be provided. Use of the QA feedback form will be reviewed. Instructors are current QA staff. The objective of this one day only session is to expand on the current division quality assurance program. Bring your own copy of the Central Division Senior Manual.

Clinics will take place regardless of Mother Nature’s behavior.
Lodging for the Boyne Highlands Event:
Lodging is available at the Boyne Highlands resort. Contact central reservations at Boyne Mountain at 1-800-GOBOYNE. Identify yourself as part of the National Ski Patrol Central Division Clinic to be held at the Highlands. There are also several hotels in the Petoskey area and the Best Western in Harbor Springs is convenient.
The PSIA-C division event is taking place this same weekend. It would be wise to make reservations well in advance.
Lodging for the Granite Peaks Event:
Listed rates are based on last season and subject to change.
Best Western Midway Hotel (Hoffman House) 715-842-1616. Location about 1 mile from ski
area. Let them know you are with Ski Patrol.
Exel Inn 715-842-0641, Location about 3 miles from ski area.
Lodge at Cedar Creek 888-365-6343 4-6 person suite includes all
day indoor water-park passes. Location is about 5 miles from ski area. This is a great place for patrollers with families.
There are many other hotels all with in a 1-5 mile radius of the ski area. Check the

Airports:
Central Wisconsin Airport is the closest airport for the area most of the hotels have
shuttles to and from.
NSP parkas and packs will be the uniforms for all clinics.
