General objectives ( 4th grade / Elementary education )

By the end of this school year the pupils will be able to :

§  Speak about themselves.

§  Use the simple present tense.

§  Speak and write about their best friends.

§  Understand the difference between: “this” and “that and their respective plural form.

§  Identify the colors in real objects and know how to write them without mistakes.

§  Introduce themselves and ask someone about the name, age, where someone is from etc.

§  Know how to use correctly the two articles a / an before the nouns.

§  Learn how to use everyday words and expressions that are used in classroom.

§  Create their family tree and be able to describe it.

§  Speak about their family using various adjectives.

§  Lean the comparative forms of adjectives and use them in the sentences.

§  Use preposition of location correctly.

§  Use correctly the possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns

§  Have a telephone conversation using words and expressions learnt

§  Use vocabulary related to math and perform addition and subtraction

§  Write a thank you letter or postcard.

§  Learn how to wish on different occasions.
