Dear Students and Families,

I would like to start this letter by welcoming all of you to the 4th grade! I am very excited about this coming school year and to be part of the Manzanita Elementary T.E.A.M.. Dragon Pride! Secondly, I would like to give you all a little information about me. I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I am a recent honors graduate from Northern Arizona University and have lived in Kingman for the last 3 years. I am proud to be part of this community! My wife and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary and together we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter.

I love technology and plan to implement technology as much as possible into the classroom this year. I see this as the way education is moving and I do not want our students to be left behind. This year our students will be learning so much about MATH, READING, WRITING, SCIENCE, SOCIAL STUDIES, and so much more. As reminder, we are starting the 45/10 schedule this school year, so make sure you keep your school calendar to stay up to date. I am looking forward to this change and the great impact it will have on our student’s learning.

I hope you found this first contact to be informative and friendly. If you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. You may reach me at school at 928.753.6197. If I am not available when you call, I will call you back as soon as possible. I can also be reached through email at .

I look forward to working together with you and your child as they navigate into the 4th grade. Let’s make this the best year ever!

Sincerely,

Mr. Brumfield
