Dear Potential Exhibitor or Advertiser:

The Midland section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to host CERMACS 2013, the 44th Central Regional Meeting from May 15 – May 17, 2013 in Mt. Pleasant, MI on the campus of Central Michigan University.

We invite you to represent your products and services at the Exposition, a central feature of the conference. The value of personal contact in this age of online networking cannot be overestimated. Our exhibitors will obtain maximum exposure to conference attendees, sharing space with technical posters, coffee breaks and other refreshments. We anticipate about 600 attendees from educational and industrial institutions across the Central Region, which includes parts of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.

Located in central Michigan, just 45 minutes from Midland-Bay City-Saginaw International Airport, Mt. Pleasant offers a variety of attractions, including 12 area golf courses, Soaring Eagle Casino, shopping in historic downtown, Ziibiwing Cultural Center, Soaring Eagle Waterpark Complex, canoeing on the Chippewa River, and much more.

We have made every effort to keep this event as economical as possible by holding exhibitor fees at their 2011 levels! The fees are $800 per table for commercial vendors (includes two registrations) and $295 for not-for-profit and academic institution representatives. Details on registration fees, deadlines, and table information are in the Exhibitor Application Form (see below) or can be downloaded from the meeting website (

The Exposition kicks off Wednesday at noon. In order to maximize attendance we are planning several events within the Expo hall, a reception with free refreshments and hors d’oeuvres on Wednesday evening, free lunch for all attendees on Thursday, and the entire Friday morning dedicated to the Exposition. These targeted events will have concurrent poster sessions within the Expo hall to draw in attendees. Please consider sponsoring one of these events using the attached Sponsorship Form.

A block of moderately priced suites in university housing will be available and information about all local lodging options will be posted on our website as we get closer to the meeting.

Sincerely,

Philip J. Squattrito
