KtS Dance

If there is anyone that still wishes to book the Easter Workshops on Saturday 30th March this can now be done by phone or email. Booking forms are available to download from the ‘NEWS’ page of the website or can be completed on the day (if necessary).

Please be aware that places are not secured until payment has been made. This can be completed via bank transfer (account details are on your fees invoice. Please quote the following as reference: W/CHILD’S NAME).

We are happy for people to come along and pay via cash on the day but we suggest you call or text Friday night or Saturday (before 9am) to ensure there are still spaces so as to avoid disappointment.

The workshops will be led by myself and cover teacher, Miss. Charlotte, and should be a fun way to finish off the Spring term. The children will be performing their routines at the end of the sessions so it would be lovely to see as many of you there as possible.

Details of the sessions available are below:

St. Mark’s Family Centre

Twinkle Stars (age 2-5yrs): 9.00-10.30am£10

(An extended Twinkle Toes session with ballet, modern, games and stories)

Mitcham Library Hall

Popstars (age 5yrs plus):10.30am-1.00pm£12

(A fun and funky workshop with pop songs, street dance, commercial and freestyle)

Triple Threat (age 5yrs plus):1.30-4.30pm£15

(A chance to sing, dance and act incorporating musical theatre and other popular songs)

Popstars and Triple Threat:10.30am-4.30pm£25

(Book both sessions at a discounted rate for a full day of song, dance, drama and fun)

10% discount for siblings.

Children have been working very hard on their exam work this term and I hope to finalise details over the Easter period. It is expected that the following examinations will take place-

Twinkle Toes pupils – Rainbow Award (One dance)

Pre-Primary pupils – Class Examination Ballet (Introduction to the Graded examination)*

Primary pupils – Preliminary Ballet (Graded examination)

Grade 1 pupils – Grade 1 Modern (Graded examination)

Street/Disco pupils – One or Two Dance Test

(* Additional letter enclosed for those involved)

At the moment we are having issues with booking the hall, however, we have 2 possible dates – Tuesday 16th July (this would be an after-school session) or Thursday 25th July (this will be a day-time session as the schools have broken up).

I would appreciate it if people could let me know immediately if they have an issue with either of these dates as there is a minimum requirement for examination entries that we must meet.
