Dear Parents and Guardians:
Burlington County Institute of Technology, Westampton Campus, will host Back to School Night at 7:00 PM and Parent Athletics Session at 6:45 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016. During the evening, you will follow your student’s first semester schedule, meet their teachers, and receive an overview of our educational program. Prior to the start of homeroom, an informational session will be held in the Auditorium for current and potential parents of athletes. We strongly suggest you attend this session if your student is currently participating or plans to participate in athletics. Please refrain from bringing children or students with you. You may also take the opportunity to visit various organizations in the Atrium during this evening. The schedule will be as follows:
Parent Athlete Session
Auditorium 6:45 – 7:00 PM
Back to School Night
Homeroom 7:00 – 7:05 PM
Block 1 7:05 – 7:20 PM
Block 2 7:25 – 7:40 PM
Block 3 7:45 – 8:00 PM
Block 4 8:05 – 8:20 PM
Each block is 15 minutes and is designed for you to get an overview of the expectations of the course and to meet your student’s instructor. This time is not designed for parent-teacher conferences. A copy of your student’s schedule is posted in the Genesis Parent Portal. Please log into the Parent Genesis Portal, click on Student Data Tab, select the Summary Tab and print the schedule. PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING YOUR STUDENT’S SCHEDULE WITH YOU THAT EVENING. If you do not have access to Genesis, a schedule can be provided for you that evening through the Guidance Department.
