Thesis Title:

Chemical Composition of Trace and Heavy Metals and Major Ions over Oludeniz Region – Turkey.

This study was part of an integrated project conducted by four departments in METU. It was based onan investigation of the chemical composition and concentrations of Heavy and Trace elements in aerosol samples collected from the area of study (Oludeniz-Fethiye located in southeastern coast of Turkey). possible sources of these elements were determined by using some receptor models (EF, FA, Back Trajectories and others). The dry deposition fluxes of these elements in different aerosol sizes were also calculated to determine the amount of atmospheric input to the Oludeniz Lagoon.
